Richard M.’s Family Gets Frustrated With Broken Promises By Timeshare Company

Richard and his family consider themselves avid travelers. One time while traveling with his wife, Kimberly, he was offered a full breakfast if they both attended a 30-minute presentation. What followed next was a meeting that seemed to never end. Hour after hour passed and Richard began to feel pressured. Below is a firsthand account of the timeshare nightmare Richard experienced. Names of people and companies have been changed due to privacy reasons.

“On one of our vacations we were showered with gifts and offered a breakfast spread to sit through a 30-minute presentation. It quickly turned into two hours and three hours and so on as the gift packages kept growing in hopes they’d get us to sign. Looking back, they deceived us and told us so many lies. And all they cared about was receiving their payment and attempting to offer us more of their ‘wonderful services’ to get us on the hook for more money.”

After finally giving in, the irony of it all for Richard was his family never got to use any of the incentives that were offered in order to keep them in the meeting. They felt like they were stuck for life.

“After we purchased in 2015, we never got to use the timeshare. We never got to use our gifts. We lost all the way around and felt helpless. We unfortunately assumed we would be on the hook financially for the rest of our lives, for something we couldn’t seem to use and for something we no longer wanted anything to do with. They were nothing more than money- hungry liars. By far, it was the worst decision Kimberly and I ever made.”

Fed lie after lie, Richard started to do research. The last thing he wanted to do was to eventually pass this debt onto his kids.

“We researched and googled other companies, and might have exchanged a few emails, but nothing serious. The reasoning for that? Nobody brought me the comfort or confidence that Wesley Financial Group did. I did my research on Wesley, and it sealed the deal. I can’t explain the relief I felt when we started working with Wesley Financial Group towards our termination!”

We were able to help Richard start the process of terminating his timeshare. Now that he doesn’t have the stress of a timeshare to worry about, he is focused on his family’s future.

“Other than this freeing us up to take other trips, I think for us a big thing will be saving for our kid’s college fund. We are just so grateful to have received help from Wesley Financial Group throughout this process. They have been like family to us.”

If Richard’s story seems like a similar situation that you or someone else you know has experienced, please feel free to reach out and see if you qualify for our timeshare termination services.
