Below is a word for word account of the timeshare nightmare that Sarah and John experienced. We hope their written account will shed some light on the tactics that the timeshare industry often uses on good, unsuspecting people like them. Names of people have been changed and/or redacted for privacy reasons.

Sarah & John’s Client Story

“This purchase has been the worst financial decision I (we) have ever made. We are hard working middle class people who were on a well deserved vacation. We had rented a home from an individual, and she was overbearing. She was constantly coming by and walking around the house with no warning. The owner pushed us to go to a sales presentation for a timeshare while we were there.

As I shared our stressful experience with the salesman, he saw some suckers, I guess. We told the salesman of our issues with our current vacation, like the amenities we were promised that we were not able to use, including a pool that was not functional. He sold us on the ease of vacationing and the customer service provided (only when we asked), unlike the situation we were presently in.

The sales rep promised us all kinds of free passes that we never got. It was a rainy day at the beach in December and we got a “free” breakfast...which turned into a $17,000 breakfast. We were kept in the presentation for seven hours. By that point I would have signed anything to get the hell out of there and get to go back to our unwelcoming vacation home."

Sarah and John were promised a lot of things by the timeshare company that were never given to them. Their situation is something we see quite a bit, and we are prepared to assist them on their path to timeshare cancellation. We are currently working to get Sarah and John’s timeshare cancelled.

If -- like this couple -- you have been lied to or misled by a timeshare company during a timeshare presentation, we may be able to help you. Reach out to us today to see if you qualify for our timeshare cancellation services.
