Victoria T. And Husband Get Ousted By Increasing Maintenance Fees

After a 33-year career in the telecommunications industry, Victoria and her husband are semi-retired in Pennsylvania with their dog. Having owned a timeshare for quite some time now, they keep watching their maintenance fees increase year after year. They’ve had enough.

Below is a written account of the timeshare fiasco that Victoria and her husband experienced. Names of people and companies have been omitted for privacy reasons.

The increasing maintenance fees and ability to go on vacation due to health issues with both me and my wife are the main reasons we want out of this burden. In addition to the pandemic, since my wife is highly susceptible to catch it, we also have our dog and we were told  pets are not allowed at any of the timeshares in their network. We have no family close to us to feed, walk or watch her. We don't trust kennels at all, so using the timeshare has been a problem for us in the past four years and we are throwing money out the window in excess of $30,000 plus!”

When Victoria and her husband signed up they were fed lies about how they could use points they received off of their current timeshare for other locations around the world. They were even told they would receive tickets to the happiest place on earth.

“We were told we could use our points in over 350 locations and with the points we purchased in our contract. We were told that we would receive free tickets to Disney World once we agreed to sign our contract. They also never told us about the cost of maintenance fees, only that every two years they change all their furniture in various resorts. It was also never mentioned that when we move up in any level, the cost of the maintenance fees goes up significantly with it. If we were told this in the beginning, we would have never signed on.”

Finding a diamond in the rough

Feeling like there was no way out, the recently retired couple tried to figure out a solution and even examined the idea of trying to sell their timeshare.

“We tried selling and renting our timeshare with a company about six or seven years ago. It cost us $1,000 and the company did nothing for us. We tried to recover some of the money, but were told we could not.”

That’s when they did more research and were able to find Wesley Financial Group, LLC. After reading exceptional reviews the decision was easy.

“I went on the web and searched exit timeshare sites and came across your company. I looked your company up on BBB, and found no negative comments, only positive. I went to your website and read reviews of individuals who

signed on with the company. Every person we spoke with, made us feel comfortable and were very professional. They all answered any and all questions we asked. We could not ask for a better experience. Your company is more than five stars. I would recommend Wesley Financial Group to anybody who wants out of their timeshare.”
